Our Commitment to Transparency

MCP Find uses artificial intelligence to enhance the quality, accuracy, and consistency of content in our directory. We are committed to full transparency about which content is AI-generated or AI-enhanced, and we maintain rigorous editorial standards to ensure the information we provide is accurate and valuable to developers.

What Content Uses AI?

Tool Overviews & Summaries

AI-Generated with Human Review: Overviews, feature summaries, use case descriptions, and keyword extraction for tool profiles are generated using Doubao (ByteDance's LLM), a large language model trained on current AI development trends and technical documentation.

  • Generated content undergoes automated quality checks (completeness, relevance, safety)
  • All summaries are reviewed before publication to ensure accuracy
  • Source attribution remains visible on each tool page (GitHub repo, official docs, npm package)
  • We maintain version history of all generated summaries

Skills, Workflows & Learn Guides

Synthetic/Template-Generated: Skills, workflows, and learn guides are generated from structured data templates based on underlying tool capabilities. These are derived from parsed README files, GitHub metadata, and dependency analysis, but are written by AI to be more readable and actionable for developers.

  • Each guide is generated from verified source data (no hallucinations)
  • All references and code snippets are extracted directly from source repositories
  • Human editors review high-impact guides before publication

Curated Content & Blog Posts

Human-Written: Blog posts, curated lists, editorials, and team commentary are written by human editors with domain expertise in the MCP ecosystem.

AI Models We Use

  • Doubao (ByteDance): Used for tool overview generation, feature extraction, and SEO summary creation
  • Claude (Anthropic): Used for human review, editorial quality assurance, and content moderation

Quality & Accuracy Standards

All AI-generated content must meet these criteria before publication:

  • Factual Accuracy: Information matches source documentation and repository metadata
  • Completeness: All major features, use cases, and configuration options are covered
  • No Hallucinations: No invented features, APIs, or capabilities
  • Appropriate Tone: Clear, technical, developer-focused language
  • Up-to-Date: Reflects the latest version of tools based on GitHub timestamps and release notes
  • Consistency: Follows editorial guidelines for formatting, terminology, and structure

How We Ensure Quality

Automated Checks

Before any AI-generated content is published, it undergoes automated validation:

  • Relevance scoring against source material
  • Length and structure validation
  • Security/safety content filtering
  • Duplicate and plagiarism detection

Editorial Review

High-impact content (featured tools, popular skills, trending guides) undergoes manual review by human editors who verify:

  • Technical accuracy and completeness
  • Alignment with the tool's official documentation
  • Appropriateness for the MCP developer community

Source Attribution

Every tool profile displays clear attribution to its original sources (GitHub repository, npm package, official documentation), allowing you to verify AI-generated summaries against authoritative sources.

Freshness & Updates

AI-generated content is automatically regenerated when:

  • The underlying tool is updated (new GitHub releases detected)
  • The repository README is modified
  • Package metadata changes (npm, PyPI)
  • Our editorial guidelines or AI models are improved

The "Last Updated" date on each tool profile indicates when AI content was last generated. This ensures you're always viewing current information about tools.

Feedback & Corrections

If you find inaccurate AI-generated content, we welcome your feedback. Please contact us with:

  • The tool or content URL
  • What information is inaccurate
  • The correct information and source (link to docs/repo)

We'll investigate and correct the content within 24 hours if an error is confirmed.
